Who is Cub Scout Pack 377?

Good question!  We are a Cub Scout Unit that is one of many within the Crossroads of America Council.  We are also located in the Hou Koda District.  Our Chartered Organization is with Messiah Lutheran Church in Brownsburg, Indiana.  Although we hold our meetings and events at our chartered organization, you do not have to attend or be a member of Messiah Lutheran Church to participate in Pack 377.

We are made up of many Volunteers that are trained and work with your sons in building and instilling the 12 core values of scouting.  You can read more about those values on the "Why Join Scouting?" page.  We believe in the values of scouting and want to improve the lives of not only your son, but our sons as well.  Our goal is to provide a quality program that encourages each scout to continue on to boy scouting and motivates each parent a part of scouting.

So How is Pack 377 Set up?

We structure our pack according with the BSA guidelines in the Cub Scout Leader book.  The literature that is provided by the BSA is there to provide us with a guideline, that has been tried and proven over time to be the best foundation for Pack, Troops & Crews.

According to the Cub Scout Leader book this is how a pack should be structured:

Parent's Manual - (Word)

As you can see it takes many parents and volunteers to organize and run a pack.  When you sign your son up with Pack 377, we encourage you to take an active role in your son's scouting life and become an active member of Pack 377.
